DELIVERY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

This Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed through Noble Furniture and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Refund and Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy.

We are committed to processing and delivering customer orders as efficiently and reliably as reasonably possible.

Nothing in this Delivery Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights granted to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”), or any other applicable South African law.

2. ORDER PROCESSING

Once an order has been successfully placed and payment has been confirmed, we aim to process, pack, and prepare the order for courier collection within 24 hours.

The 24-hour processing period refers to the time required to verify, process, pack, and prepare an order for collection by our courier service.

The processing of an order within 24 hours does not mean that the order will be delivered to the customer within 24 hours.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next business day.

Orders may occasionally require additional processing time due to payment verification, stock availability, unusually high order volumes, security checks, supplier delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3. OUR DELIVERY PARTNER

We primarily use The Courier Guy for the collection and delivery of orders throughout South Africa.

Where necessary or appropriate, we reserve the right to use another reputable courier or delivery service to fulfil an order.

Once an order has been collected by the courier, customers may receive tracking information where tracking services are available.

4. DELIVERY CHARGES AND LIVE SHIPPING RATES

Delivery charges are calculated based on factors including, but not limited to:

* The delivery address;

* The size and weight of the order;

* The dimensions of the packaged product;

* The selected delivery service; and

* Any applicable courier charges.

Where available, the delivery fee displayed during checkout may be calculated using live or estimated courier rates based on the information available at the time the order is placed.

The applicable delivery charge will be displayed to the customer before payment and completion of the order.

Where an obvious error occurs in the calculation of a delivery fee due to incorrect system information, technical malfunction, incorrect product data, or other circumstances, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible to resolve the matter in accordance with applicable law.

5. DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery times will depend on the delivery location, courier service selected, product availability, and other relevant circumstances.

Delivery times displayed on the Website or communicated to customers are provided in good faith and are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed upon.

Delivery times may be affected by:

* The customer’s location;

* Courier operations;

* Weekends and public holidays;

* Weather conditions;

* Road conditions;

* Unusually high order volumes; or

* Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to facilitate delivery within the agreed or reasonably expected period and in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.

6. DELIVERY AREAS

We deliver to addresses within South Africa that are supported by our courier and delivery partners.

Certain remote, rural, high-risk, or outlying areas may be subject to additional delivery charges or extended delivery periods.

Where we are unable to deliver to a particular address, we will contact the customer to discuss available alternatives.

7. DELIVERY ADDRESSES

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information when placing an order.

This includes the correct:

* Recipient name;

* Street address;

* Suburb;

* City or town;

* Postal code; and

* Contact telephone number.

Customers should carefully verify their delivery information before completing an order.

We will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery information supplied by the customer, subject to applicable law.

Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they notice an error in their delivery information.

We cannot guarantee that a delivery address can be changed after an order has been processed or collected by the courier.

8. ORDER TRACKING

Once an order has been processed and collected by the courier, tracking information may be sent to the customer by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or another available communication method.

Customers are encouraged to monitor their tracking information and ensure that someone is reasonably available to receive the delivery.

9. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Where a delivery cannot be completed because:

* Nobody is available to receive the order;

* The delivery address supplied is incorrect or incomplete;

* The courier cannot reasonably access the delivery location; or

* The customer refuses delivery without a lawful reason,

the courier may attempt redelivery or return the order to us.

Where additional delivery, storage, or return costs arise due to circumstances caused by the customer, the customer may be responsible for reasonable additional costs where permitted by law.

10. LARGE AND BULKY ITEMS

Certain furniture, appliances, and other large or bulky products may require specialised delivery arrangements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the ordered product can reasonably fit through doorways, entrances, staircases, passages, lifts, gates, and other access points at the delivery address.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, standard delivery does not include:

* Furniture assembly;

* Product installation;

* Removal of doors, windows, gates, or other structures;

* Hoisting products over balconies, walls, or other structures;

* Removal or disposal of old furniture or appliances; or

* Specialised equipment required to access the delivery location.

Where additional services are available, additional charges may apply.

11. INSPECTION OF PRODUCTS UPON DELIVERY

Customers are encouraged to inspect the condition of the packaging and products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If a product appears to have been damaged during delivery, the customer should contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

To assist us in investigating and resolving the matter efficiently, customers may be requested to provide:

* Their order number;

* Photographs or videos of the damaged product;

* Photographs of the packaging; and

* A description of the damage.

These requirements are intended to assist with the investigation of delivery claims and do not limit any statutory rights available to the customer.

12. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ORDERS

If a customer receives an incorrect product or an incomplete order, the customer should contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We will investigate the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.

13. DELIVERY DELAYS

Although we aim to process and prepare orders for courier collection within 24 hours, delivery delays may occasionally occur.

Possible causes of delays include:

* Courier delays;

* Severe weather;

* Road closures;

* Public holidays;

* Strikes or industrial action;

* Unusually high order volumes;

* Supplier or warehouse delays;

* Natural disasters;

* Civil unrest;

* System or technical failures; and

* Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where we become aware of a significant delay affecting an order, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with the customer and resolve the matter appropriately.

14. LOST ORDERS

If tracking information indicates that an order may have been lost during delivery, the customer should contact us.

We will investigate the matter with the relevant courier or delivery partner.

Where an order is confirmed as lost, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

15. RISK AND OWNERSHIP

Risk relating to products will pass in accordance with applicable South African law.

Nothing in this Delivery Policy is intended to transfer risk to a consumer earlier than permitted under the CPA or any other applicable legislation.

16. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact us as soon as possible.

Where an order has already been processed, collected, dispatched, or delivered, the cancellation may be handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable law.

Any statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights available to the customer remain unaffected.

17. CUSTOMER COLLECTIONS

Where customer collection is available, customers will be notified once their order is ready for collection.

Customers should not arrive to collect an order before receiving confirmation that the order is ready.

Proof of order and appropriate identification may be required before an order is released.
